  • oops!

there was a glitch – the following post won’t make much sense, but, i’ve removed the address, as it seems it was a hoax.

anyway, for the holidays, think of someone that could use some cheer and CHEER THEM!

  • A Christmas idea worth doing!

I recieved an email today from one of our fabulous brides…  Julie married Steve – what a stunning couple!!

    i don’t send Christmas cards, and here’s why…

the last time i sent cards was about 23 years ago – OMG! when did i get that old???? – and i sent cards out to over 100 people.  at the time i was a very poor college student, so the cost seemed like a lot.  and the reason i don’t send them any more is that even though i sent out so many cards, i still forgot people!!!  this, of course, made me feel terrible.  today, i know even more people, but have far fewer physical addresses for people, so to send out cards would be virtually impossible.

when you are not feeling well, it’s awesome to get a card – let someone know you care.

    Thanks Julie!  Great idea!

  • did you miss me???

well….  life has been a little crazy.  i shall not bore you…  i’m back!  i’m going to try my best to keep closer tabs on my blog.  it seems as things go haywire, my blog gets lost.

FIRST – Brenda had a wonderful idea!  She handles our print orders and she wanted to donate a portion of our sales each month to a cause.  NOVEMBER was the American Cancer Society.  I think DECEMBER will also be the American Cancer Society, but check the LATEST WORK page of our website and you’ll see where 10% of our print sales will be going.  SO! if you were thinking about ordering prints for Christmas, you’ll also be making a donation!!  Brenda has the best ideas!  (ORDER NOW TO HAVE YOUR PRINTS FOR THE HOLIDAY!)  Rushing is expensive.

a few things to update you with…

the ad (mentioned below) went to print – and it looks really nice in the Knot magazine.  i think it stands out well – in a good way - and i’ve gotten some feedback from some people who didn’t see it before.  it’s so nice to hear that they think it looks good.  check it out in the Pittsburgh Knot magazine for Spring/Summer!!  there was one small change – instead of ‘impeccable’, i used the word ‘exquisite’ to describe album design…

i also got a new iPod!  as you may know (if you used to visit my blog) i LOVE iPods.  the new iPod touch is fabulous!!!  i did sell one of my collection to fund the investment.

xander got a new coat and there is this adorable new place right near me to wash dogs!!  it’s called Larry’s Laundromutt and it’s toooooo much fun to take your dog there to wash him.  i don’t see a website, but you just stop in with your dog.  next time i go, i’ll bring my camera and do a little video!  xander’s coat is a shearling woolrich dog coat - and he looks too cute – again a picture is in order, as soon as i can!!    oh my gosh – look how little he was!!  this is his baby pic, he was just 3 pounds…. now he’s 3 years old ~  and a big 11 pounds!

    all better after first bath

i also have a bunch of albums getting ready to release.  i figured, however, that since the print ad is now on the news stands, i’d feature Megan and Michael’s album, since they are the couple in the ad…

this is a really beautiful book….  the graphic was custom created to match the pattern in their lovely programs, the color was inspired by the bridesmaids’ dresses (a very rich chocolate), and this is one goregeous couple…just click HERE to ENJOY!  remember to adjust your speakers!!

and welcome back – i promise to be back tomorrow, as long as you stop by!

    :)
