wow! what a week! i can't believe it's wednesday. i took a vacation day monday beacuse the 'floor people' were here. i had a hardwood floor installed in my bedroom. i love it! so beautiful. cherry. it looks so nice i don't want to put anything it there. i'll take a few pics soon - the little cottage is coming along.
well, i think that's all for now. i'm going to hit the hay..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

merrell boots!! i wore my new boots the entire day of shooting our last wedding - cold and icy. my feet were warm and felt GREAT all day. i wish i could wear these in july!! got them at DSW shoes. not cheap - but worth every penny.

what a great weekend! we got the wedding photographs up in 1 day! i stayed in my pj's and just worked on them all day.
we photographed katie's sister's wedding in october, so we feel like part of the anderson family! katie and carrie are the sweetest girls. the andersons are so much fun - just the warmest family. truly a pleasure to work with.
we used a new slidshow program for katie's wedding and rehearsal pictures. i love doing them! i couldn't stop watching last night after i loaded them.
and we had a blast with our new fisheye 15mm lens! Heinz Field - where the Steelers play - was the reception location. Katie's a huge fan, and her dad is the University of Pittsburgh Band Director - so the Pitt Panther showed up! It was great fun. What a happy bride! She did a little dance when the minister pronounced them 'married'.

pittsburgh is such a challenge. it is very dark - and everyone wants the 'atmostphere'. i feel like we are really pushing the envelope of equipment capability. no where is a fast lens more needed than here! beautiful (but dark!) churches - night receptions and very little outdoor opportunities in the winter. a lot of shots would be lost without raw capture. one of my favorites was when katie was getting off the trolly at the church:
