  • Beth and Keith, two friends... and MORE!

Beth and Keith are just gorgeous!  and what a beautiful wedding.  Beth's attention to detail was just amazing, and i loved everything she chose!

i have to post a few of my favorites.

i just adore this photo of the pastry chef photographing her cake with her phone.  i'm sure we'll be able to provide her with something nice for her portfolio, and, of course, this picture, too!

    CHECK THIS OUT...!

About a year and a half ago we shot Chance and Shelly's wedding.  They are such an adorable couple!  they now live in california, and are expecting their first bambino in january!  well, at their wedding, we took this photograph:

do you see the bridesmaid in the background (the first on the left?)  well.... it's BETH!  and what's really cool is that the bridesmaid in the background in this picture, in the same place!) is Shelly!  isn't that awesome??  (how'd they do that?)  sometimes we even amaze ourselves.

you MUST see the Moving Pictures - elegance personified!  so worth taking a peek - don't forget to adjust your speakers (the music starts out really quiet) :)

    ENJOY!!

  • Rings!

on the recommendation of SEVERAL truly FABulous photographers, including Amy Squires, Jim Cook, and Liana Lehman (how's that for name dopping?), we've invested in a fantastic new lens just for photographing rings! jim let us borrow his 100mm f2.8 macro so that we could take it for a spin, and as soon as we got home, B&H got a phone call.  (B&H is terrific, by the way)  here are my FIRST 2 attempts at photographing some rocks, no cropping necessary!  (Nice job on the rocks, guys!)

  • A picnic at Highland Park

Jen and Nick will be married next May, and we had a blast with this haute couple!  Jen brought a great little picnic, and they had a little snack.  (isn't she adorable?)

Check out Jen and Nick's slideshow - so romantic!  By the time they ended up in the fountain, they might as well have been in Italy.  (ok, maybe not Italy, but who would guess this is Highland Park in Pittsburgh?)

this was our last eSession for a little while, as we have weddings nearly every week until November.  our eSessions have been so great, and we've taken so many awesome photographs that i'm really excited for the actual weddings now! our eSessions have really taken on a style of their own, so we had an idea...  we'll be designing eSession albums and guest books.  i'll give more details as this project develops.  our albums have been award-winning, so this just makes sense!  a great little coffee table book that will actually be enjoyed.

we have an amazing wedding this weekend at Heinz Chapel.  i'm so excited for this one that i have my car packed already!  stop back to see the highlights!

  • eSessions!

i have to say that our eSessions have been soooo much fun!  We had two this weekend.  We have done so many at Pitt, you would think I'd be tired of that location, but there is so much there!

Valerie and Christopher were so much fun!  the red door is so fantastic.  it has made an appearance in quite a few of our photographs.  i kind of feel like it's our door!

and of course we found a FOUNTAIN!!

there were so many good pictures from the day - check out the Moving Pictures to see them all!

Here’s a hint……at the bottom right of the slideshow is a little control box.  If you double click it, it will drop down controls, and you can click on a gallery view to click through each photograph!  Cool, huh?  There’s a link at the bottom of the page so you can email it to anyone you want, too!

  • wow! where does the time go!

i've been so busy! i thought i try to get a little caught up...

the next few entries are from the 'burgh.  there has been so much going on!  brenda and i went to Louisville, KY for a surprise engagment!!!  wow!! i will talk about that for ever! it was absolutley the most romantic thing i've ever seen.  stop back for more details and a truely unforgettable story...

...but for now enjoy some local romance!  check out the entries that follow for a little up date of my adventures!!

  • fountains fountains fountains!!

here we go again!!  kristen and geoff are just darling!  and they were soooooo flexible.  we got kicked out of the area near the steel tower down town - still not sure what was up with that, but no sense arguing with someone when you can go across the street to another FOUNTAIN!  this is where kai and marcel were, when the fountain was ON!

    these two are ADORABLE:

060730abellissima637 and here are some MOVING PICTURES to prove it!!

  • fabulous fountains!

pittburgh is known as the city of bridges, but i am determined to get people to think of it as the city of FOUNTAINS!  i think just about every couple in the last few months have ended up near or IN a fountain with us - or at LEAST in the rain, and sometimes BOTH!  Kai and Marcel were no exception.  we love it when a couple is up for just about anything, and these two were great!  these MOVING PICTURES are some of my faves!

  • eSessions are haute!

wow!  last year it seems we only did a few engagement sessions. as we have 'tuned' our eSession style, they have really been awesome!  i'm so behind in posting!  (really, REALLY busy).  but here's a gorgeous couple, Tara & Paul.  it rained the whole time, but we managed to have a blast on a merry-go-round at, of all Places, Pitt!  (we love Pitt!)  the MOVING PICTURES are so worth checking out!

  • and one more assignment

after the chics, and 2 eSessions, we met with an author for a portrait session.  Lewis Nordan is a legendary author, and we photographed him for the cover of a magazine!  i liked this shot

but i think they'll be using a more traditional portrait.

  • In addition to kai and marcel...

on the same day asthe Chics, and  Kai and Marcel, we met with Amy and Bill!

these two really surprised us.  they are just darling!  so sweet and reserved....

who would ever think the would end up IN the fountain?!  they were one HOT couple!!

    can't forget the moving pictures!
