we JUST met these guys tonight!  like most of our clients, Jessica and Dean live out of town, so we've never met in person.  Here are a few quick shots we got outside the church at their rehearsal tongiht.  Aren't they adorable?   Tomorrow is gonna be so much fun!

 since i mentioned the PROPEL fitness water, i've seen tons' of commercials for it, and it's made by GATORADE.

that made me think of Jim & Lisa's wedding, because their center pieces were filled with gatorade!  i'd never seen anything like them, and they were fabulous against the black tablecloths and bright pink accents.

toward the end of the evening, a few people must have gotten thirsty, because they were drinking the center pieces!  i'll never think of gatorade the same way again.  (now i'll bet you won't either!)

my two favorite things right now are PROPEL FITNESS WATER, and NETFLIX.

brenda brought the propel to the last wedding, and it was so good!  i thought, great, just what i need, a sugar rush. but, to my pleasant surprise, there isn't a lot of sugar in it - and it's WATER!  anyone who knows me, knows i'm part camel, and drink very little water, at all.  i don't get thirsty.  it's weird.  so any excuse to remind me to drink water is a good one.  i've ony had the kiwi strawberry, but they all look pretty good!

am i the last person on the plane to get NETFLIX?  i love this!  i signed up for their cheapest plan because the chances of me having time to watch more than one movie at a time is ZERO.  i mailed a movie back monday, and got a new one TODAY! (it's wednesday)  that's nuts!  my picture is on the 'most wanted' wall at the movie rental place beacause i have no time to return the movies that i don't even have time to watch!  so 2 thumbs up for netflix! 

so,  PROPREL FITNESS WATER, and NETFLIX  check 'em out!

oh! and i made a print today for weddings... we usally print a 4x6 for the guests, of the couple, but, we haven't met Jessica and Dean, yet!  their wedding is Saturday - and we just talked with Jessica.  sounds like it's goign to be fabulous!!!!  what do you think of this print?

This is the gorgeous bride - everyone who sees her photos thinks she looks like Sandra Bullock.  (Sandra WISHES she was this adorable!)  i added a little grain to this shot to give it a little more artsy look. 

Ricky is a police officer, and we thought the old jail would be cool, since it was near their reception. so we headed down to the old jail in dowtown pittsburgh, tied up traffic a bit, and got some great photographs of the bridal party.

can you believe this is the same photograph?  doesn't it look different with different processing?  i love the black & white, and the 'cross processing' is perfect for such a haute couple!

brenda took a few shots while the brother of the bride and i tried to get a good shot of the rings.  (that's me on the right!)

it's kind of funny because so much seemed to be going on around us, and we both have to hold really still. this photograph was the most challenging of the day, since there was lots of laughing and shaking.  anyone who has handled a 100mm macro will appreciate the practice, skill, and a steady helper, that this requires!  but, it's the only way i know to get a shot like this, right out of the camera (no cropping).  i asked Ricky to stand right where he did so i could try catch his reflection in the rings - can you see it?

in PA the praying mantis is protected.  i only saw one once before this.  last year for a few days one hung out on the window at work.  this week this beauty has been on my garage.  they are pretty big - about 8" long - so it scared me at first.  my neightbor, Cyndi was very brave and waited with the dogs so i could go grab my camera - with my 100mm macro.  and she even got the little guy to get on a stick so i could take a pic of him NOT on the garage.  then she put him back.  Cyndi is awesome!  i got pretty close for these, so i could 'crop in camera'.  he has some mean looking pincers up close - and i was only a few inches away!!  i ran a few new presets that i'm trying out, and a few new actions, too.  isn't he stunning?!  (or is it a she?)

i keep thinking about this one wedding that we did in May.  jen and jason are such an awesome couple. jen chose beautiful dresses for her attendants.  her sisters, who were her maids of honor, wore a different shade in the same style.  her colors were blue and green, at it looked GORGEOUS!  i was a bit tired of the yellow and orange for the blog, and i just love this color combo!

i'm experimenting with the exact shades, but i think most everything we do will take on this new look. our website is already a shade that is kind of bluish green so i guess it's time to separate the two!  stop back as we 'tune it up', and let me know what you think!!  let me know if it's too hard to read, or if you like the change!

 i work with Jill, and Kassandra is just a baby doll!  jill had a fabulous party for Kassie's first birthday, and, of course, i brought my camera.  there were so many kids and family and friends!  Kassie is very calm, and so sweet.  I did make a slideshow for jill, but it's just for the family, so i'm only posting my favorite photograph here.  isn't she precious?

i found that i would like a calendar feature, too, so i SPLURGED, and for $5/month, i've got everything i need in one place, on-line, and they even send you reminders to your phone or email!!  

i found myself writing lists of things that needed to be done, and they are all over the place.  scraps of paper here and there, and planners that are never quite what i want.  i had a great little electronic organizer, but xander (the pup) spilled his cafe mocha on it, and well, that was the end.  ever since, i've been completely frustrated by not being able to keep things in one place.  this thing ROCKS!  the more i play with it, the better it gets!  i've got pages for home, work, work, my house and personal stuff -

by the way, i found this site through another site that was recommended by my friend, and AWESOME photographer, jim cook .

With so many weddings, we're hoping for a lot more bambinos!

 It's 3:30 in the morning and i just finished Dana and Brandon's Moving Pictures, and i can't stop thinking about this one photograph from today.  Heinz Chapel is a beautiful church - spectaular! - and quite large...

so you would think that there would be no way that this could happen....

just before the doors were opened for Dana, i snapped this photograph of her and her dad behind the doors in the back of the chapel.  look really closely, just to the left of them, and you will see Brandon's reflection, all the way from the front of the chapel!  No kidding.  when i saw it at first i thought NO WAY!  but, it's him!  isn't that AMAZING!??
