i just got back from arizona - and WOW! did i have a great time!  i've got to get some more pictures up.  this is the group that i hung out with while i was in scottsdale.  this is bruce, me, alexander, jefferson todd, and laura siivola.  We actaully worked the whole time, except for a short trip to the desert.  It's so much fun to get together with a group that understands how much work wedding photography is.  the laptops were out and we were constantly working on photographs.  i've got a few more album pre-designs in my cue that are just about ready, but until i get them polished up, check this out....  courtesy of JT!

Terry and Shandra are so delightful.  We had an eSession with them last week, and i edited it while in arizona, so it's online now. 

i love this picture so much!!!  The little boys were watching us while we were outside starbucks. they were so giggly because terry and shandra were going to kiss.  the boys thought we were shooting a movie, so they were hamming it up for the camera.  when they went inside, they stayed at the window to watch what was going on. when terry and shandra did kiss, they were typical boys.....

i couldn't have set this up if i tried!

Xander had his first plane ride yesterday!  We are in Scottsdale Arizona to shoot a wedding today with This guy....  The amazing Bruce Erik Steffine!

Our albums have arrived, and a few more are on their way!  These books are sooooo beautiful, i had to put something together for our website, and Brenda and I are planning a Holiday Party to showcase our gorgeous, new album samples!  You must see these books in person... metal covers, and the most plush suede and leather - like butter!

well, i no longer have cable tv.  i decided that there is nothing but junk on tv, so i pulled the plug.  i still watch movies, and boosted my NETFLIX - as we are going to be installing a large flat screen in the studio room.

with my new-found freedom, i'm turning out a ton of work, and the albums are on the front burner...

what a magnificent day! 

in pittsburgh, they always call for rain.  everyday there is a 30% chance of rain.  we rarely listen to the weather, because, while it's always supposed to rain, it never does... except yesterday... for kevin and lana.

i was a little bummed, because our style relies so much on natural light.  but as the day unfolded, i saw the most unbelievable images being recorded!  i'll put a few pics here, but you absololutely have to see the Moving Pictures - this day was simply STUNNING.

then off to the church for a beautiful ceremony.  st. paul's cathederal is just amazing.  i wish there was a way to give a better perspective of it's immense size.  can you find kevin and lana?!

it was raining when we left for some pictures.  we got a little creative with some light,

 and by the end of the night, on the top of mount washington, we killed the flash and pushed our cameras to the limit.  brenda and i really worked as a team.  it was raining so hard!  brenda held our umbrella while our brave bride and groom stood up to the elements.  it was great fun - but the cameras are all off to canon tomorrow, as they aren't too fond of getting so wet!  totally worth it.  i've never seen shots from mount wahington like this....

i'm so glad it rained!

 

 

alexander is my dog.  i call him xander.  and he got a new ride last week!  (i still have my honda)  and xander lets me drive.  (he had to have those heated seats for his little bum.)

i took this picture of him while he was watching a fantastic eSession with these guys....

it was a little cold outside, so brenda brought hot chocolate and whipped cream (my favorite food!)  brenda has the best ideas!

kristin and jeff had a great time! and we had a great tiem with them.  we can't wait for their wedding!  it will be in ford city, right near brenda.
