Five Years Ago....
Jill and I used to carpool to work. Five years ago when i went to pick her up, she said she didn't feel well, and she wasn't going to work. Tim, her husband, had her car as his was getting tuned up. I said, 'Jill, I think this is it!'. She was so calm, and not so sure that it was time, but we got in the car and went to the doctor, while Tim raced through heavy constuction traffic to meet us at the office. Several hours later, a healthy baby boy was born. That was FIVE years ago! I cannot believe it's been that long.
Yesterday, I took a few 'vacation hours' and went to Kevin's party. Of course i had my camera! Jill does birthday's in a BIG way ~ and this was no exception. Jody and Meredith from Oogles~n~Googles were incredible! They kept 20 five-year-olds mezmerized for 2 solid hours of fun and imagination. Kevin's theme was a Super Hero Party, and the kids decorated masks and 'trained' to be super heros and finally got their capes and went on to save the world! WOW! What a party!
