What a baby doll!!!

not having children, i often feel like i'm not sure what to do when i photograph a child.  parents seem to want that perfect, 'smiling at the camera' shot and sometimes all the little one wants to do is scream and squirm - and i LOVE THAT!  the screaming a squirming is REAL!  i'll capture that any day.  i like something that shows the personality of the person, and being the 'ALBUM LADY' i want a lot of photos so that i can make a book!

well, ann and gregg stopped to pick up their STUNNING wedding album and i HAD to treat miss madeline to her first real photo session - and what a charmer.  i could have kept her!

we are leaving for an ohio wedding, and i just realized that i never posted my reveiws from the LAST 2 !  i thought i had because they were so beautiful that i talked about them constantly!  everyone knows who megan+michael are, and because of janel i have new crocs.  but, i didn't put it here - on the blog!

i should put it up now, but with a tight schedule, i'm afraid i'd miss something. so... when i get home i will be in wedding update mode.  i have a lot of things that i'm working on, and as the ends get all tied up, i'll put a quick post here and be sending a short newsletter out.  we usually put a 'special' in there, so that it will be worth the wait.

i have been working like mad on albums - and revisions to albums, too.  here's the latest...  just to keep you occupied for a few more minutes!  LOTS more coming soon - i promise!

FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS...  check out the graphics in the album above.  i use them sparingly to just enhance a design.  i've got a LOT of requests about this type of thing, and i'll be making an announcement about something just for you!

i have this little clip on my computer at work.  i actually have a couple of clips that just make me laugh every time i see them...

here is a link to one of the funniest uTube clips i've ever seen - i honestly laugh EVERY time i see this, and i've watched it like 100 times! (i must rate this one PG for language - but you're all adults, right?)  i don't have a mac... yet.    all you truly geeky people will like it the best.  it's almost as funny as my 'how to trim the dog' video that i did for my mom.

my sister sent me this one today - and while i have it on my computer already,  i thought i'd share it because it's just too adorable.  those of you who join me in the daily grind will understand.  OH! i guess that's everyone!

wow!  apple and starbucks have struck a deal....

according to AFP (some news thing) the new iPod will link for FREE to starbucks wi-fi!!  are you kidding??  where do i sign up - i gotta have the new iPod now!!  HERE'S the story i found.

the timing is perfect for my soon-to-launch contest(s).  one of the prizes will be starbucks cards.  more info is coming.... i'm getting it all set up now - just thinking up the rules.

and now there is a new one coming.  just what i need....  well, not really.  actually, not at all!  but i want one!  and life is too short, so i'm saving my pennies now and when it's available in stores, i may have to spring for it...

so... i wore my new crocs all day without socks. 

i still love them.  they felt like jelly beans when i first put them on, and at the end of the day, while walking xanny, they still felt that way.  you know how shoes lose their 'squishy-ness'? well, these didn't.  without socks there is a slight 'hot feet' factor, and i took a long walk with xander (i thought for sure blisters would be the result) BUT, no blisters.  this is very nice.    i think some nice, black cotton socks would really make these perfect.

i really like them.  there are so many styles, but for 'dress' i thought these would look nice... cute, huh?

brenda and i had the ridiculous pleasure of photographing Janel+Alexander's wedding this weekend... but this is not about their wedding, yet!  it's about the SHOES!

janel loves her crocs.  i even took this fun pic of her crocs before she slid into these...

so at the recommendation of janel, brenda and i ordered a few pair... while we are waiting for those to arrive, i stumbled on a pair at the local macy's were i ran in to get something completely different.  i hate malls and i rarely go into them, so i take this as fate.  there was a pair of crocs - the 'alice' style in my size in black!  i wore them to work today and WOW! these are insane!  i don't think i want to wear anything else.  i actually think i could shoot an entire wedding in relative comfort.

any photographer will tell you that the only thing they don't love about shooting a wedding is that you can't walk the next day.  anyone care to vouch for me?  anyway - crocs are it - i think i found the answer the the 'oh my feet are killing me!' wedding situation.

since i know you are dying to see a shot from the day, here are 2 for you!  the first one is the real deal!  storm clouds were rolling in and let lose about 5 minutes later! 

but we were lucky enough to get THIS, before that!!!

brenda and i had a simply amazing wedding last weekend and i'm so frantic with all my work that i didn't have a chance to pull anything in here!

i'll back after tomorrow's wedding in Meadville - where i went to college! - and i'll post more about 2 great couples.  for now, here are a few shots and the Moving Pictures!

and a fabulous first dance...  WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE????  look at the balcony - about 1/2 way up.  the guests were on the second floor of the Carnegie Museum Music Hall when the couple was introduced and shared their first dance.  (see them?)  what an amazing venue!
